Cambodia Town? |
Cambodia Town is the sister city to Phnom Penh and
the official name for a roughly one-mile long
business corridor along Anaheim Street between
Atlantic and Junipero avenues in Long Beach,
California. This area has numerous Cambodian
restaurants, clothing shops, and jewelry stores as
well as service centers for
Cambodian-Americans. Many of the businesses in the
area are Cambodian-owned. The City of Long Beach
also has an annual Cambodian New Year celebration
and these Buddhist holidays are observed with festivals
and parades.
